Ignition key popped turns around will not start truck no spring in key

Replaced ignition switch still no spring in key- key just spins around

you will have to replace the barrel and key, also just make sure that the switch is attached to the lock correctly

youll need to replace the key cylinder.you have to removed the wheel and turn signal switch,so you can axcess the cylinder release.

IS THE "L" SHAPED ROD HOOKED IN THE SWITCH?

CAN YOU FEEL THE ROD MOVE FORE AND AFT, IF YOU PUT YOUR FINGERS ON IT BEHIND THE DASH....THEN TURN THE KEY?
