could the fuel injectors be the problem?

Could be but the motor would run badly. Could also be the pressure regulator with the same results.

Engine runs real bad, If you can even get it to turn over.

It is an older van, Would it even be worth the repair? I only paid $350. For it, iis it old enough to be all down hill from here?
Prior to this I was getting really bad millage and felt I should give it a tune up, put that off and then this funny sound, almost turn over -agian and agian and the process sounded like it hit a wall., But it would try to turn over agian.
