Car suddenly will not crank. Have checked the following:no spark to the plugs, no spark from coil to distrubuter, all wires/connections good, fuel pump good, battery good. Replaced the coil still doesn't crank. Engine is 5.0 liter(302). Car has been running good. It has a very touchy ignition just barely turn the key and it would fire up.

Does it have 12volts to the positive side of the coil?

Does the negative side toggle while cranking? It may be the module or the pick up

Get a 12.06 volt on the positive side and using a test light it stays on does not flicker. Could it be the TFI? We have had this car for 28 yrs and have had to replace the TFI twice also the module on the firewall too.

Either the module or the pick up in the distributor.
