1988 Chevrolet Truck Starts but doesn't stay running

Sounds like same problem Scottsdale 87 had changed oil pressure water temp sensors Also change fuel switch in the cab and crossover switch on the frame the truck starts runs for 15 to 20 and shuts down

Check fuel pressure and check wires in distleading to the pickup coil pink and white. They can wear out and not let it run.

The wires ohm out correctly It seems like the fuel pump will only run for 20 seconds And shut off I don't think it's a fuel problem it seems to be electrically showing the fuel pumps off after 20 seconds Did not use a pressure gauge But ran the pump into an empty 5 gallon can and had great flow from both tanks

Flow wont' mean much unless you check the pressure, low pressure won't allow it to run
