Need help rebuilt 1988 350 motor

Just rebuilt a 1988 350 corvette motor put it into a 72 monte carlo! It will not fire it cranks but won't fire I have changed the coil a couple of times! I got it to fire only once I have juice going into the coil but not coming out please help?

If you go to the site here under diy it vcovers ignition systems and how to test it. But a quick test on teh old system like the 72 is to put a test light on the tach lead and if it blinks it should be ok. If this has the large cap and I think it does check your coil carbon piece between the coil and rotor. They would fail occasionally. Been so damn long I forgot, this may be points if it is.019 for new and.016 used poingts. Or 30 degrees dwell.
