There are two different types one is borg warner an dother is gm. You need to seeif axle has 4 bolts holding axle on near caliper. I am sending instructions for that one.
Raise and support vehicle. Mark position of wheel on axle. Remove rear wheels. Remove caliper mounting bolts and support calipers from vehicle frame. Remove disc rotor. Remove 4 nuts holding dust shield and outer bearing retainer.
Attach Axle Shaft Remover (J-21597) to axle shaft. Using a slide hammer, remove axle shaft and wheel bearing. Mount axle shaft in soft-jawed vise. Using a chisel, split inner bearing retainer and remove from shaft.
Using Axle Bearing and Retainer Remover (J-22912-01), press bearing and seal off axle shaft. Discard bearing and seal. Bearings and retainers must not be reused.
