How do you know if timing chain/belt is bad?
How can you tell if timing belt/chain is bad and does it make noises?i hope it is just alternator bearing....

It'll make noise if its stretch and also caused by the tensioner

use cheap auto stethoscope from harbor freight ($4) or pull alternator belt to see if noise quits.
