Car wont shut off
I have an 88 cadillac and it wont shut off, the key comes out but the engine is still running, what could it be?

When you turn the key off, it is still running? Check for spark at the plugs, when the problem is ongoing, if no spark, it is dieseling. Compression too high can cause it. Also, a hot spot in the cylinder/s can cause it. You can try a higher grade of gasoline, I don't know what grade is recommended?
