Gas gauge

Have a 88 buick regal. After install of new wiper motor at dealer, dash electrical doesnt work right... Turn on head light and the gas gauge goes to empty, trun anything on and the gas gauge goes to empty. Why?

I would be taking this car back to the dealership. It sounds like they might have messed up some of the wiring. It sounds a lot like a ground problem, but it's hard to tell by your description.

They probably pinched a wire, during install. But I would have them fix it on their dime.
