Cold car won't go

I have a 1987 toyota celica 4 chy automatic it is very cold natured it will not go until it warms up what could it be

If the check engine light is on, have the computer scanned for trouble codes. IF it isn't, check fuel pump pressure to make sure the pump is producing within spec (directions on homepage under DIY). If that is good, then it becomes a guessing game without a check engine light. Check to make sure there are no vacuum leaks, check temp sensor.
