What could be wrong?
I have a 1987 olds cutlas ceira with a 3.8 engine that shuts of when I put it on reverse only , what could be causing this?

Check the air hoses. Look for cracks that are exposed when the engine tilts due to weak or bad engine mounts. Vacuum leaks would result in the engine stalling.
