I was driving 55mph then all of asudden i had no overdrive i had to drive home in 2nd gear. when i got home i found that the tv cable on the throttle body was missing the grommet. It was pointed out to me that with no line pressure (because the cable wasn't working)that it would burn the 3-4 clutch. I dont know how long the cable has been missing this grommet. But is this what happen i finally did burn 3-4 ? And fixing this grommet wont make a difference now? it has already done its damage?
