1987 Lincoln Continental Repair Question

No volume on radio
I have no volume on my radio. All lights on the radio come on, search and scan works, antenna goes up and down, channels change as I have stated. Not even static is heard. Any ideas?

There is a good chance the amp in the stereo has gone bad. Were all speakers working prior to the problem?
