What size is the carburetor opening on a 1987 honda accord lx ?
Im looking for a CAI ( cold air induction or cold air intake) conversion kit. that goes from the carb to a cone filter. the ones ive found are 5" 1/8 . im wondering what size the carburetor opening on a 1987 honda accord is so i would know which ones will fit

remove your air cleaner and measure with a tape measure from end to end to get the correct diameter.

take your time and look. there are 2 wing nuts at the top of the air filter. under that is a screen with 2 10mm nuts, remove thewm and you will see the top of the carb. thats where you measure.
