1987 ford ranger, 2.9L, 2 wheel drive.
Truck will bog down while driving, typically under light acceleration. It will come out of it after a time. Fuel pressure is in specification and has good volume. Computer does have some codes but am unable to clear any of them even though it says codes cleared. Condition reminds me of a coil breaking down or a loss of fuel but have been unable to verify since it only acts up during driving. Found the TPS loose originally, so tightened and test drove with same symptoms returning. I am unable to see any scan tool data also. Any ideas would be appreciated.
