I have a 1987 Crown Victoria LTD, 5.0L, V8, 4 door. Can you give me details on how to replace the thermostat, including where it is located?
Thanks in advance for your help.

Follow the top radiator hose to the top of the engine. The piece the hose connects to is the thermostat housing, it is held on to the engine with two bolts. Remove the bolts lift the hosing up and you will see the thermostat, lift it out and replace use a new o-ring on top of the thermostat. There is no need to use any type of gasket sealer.
