Chevrolet C1500 Body Problem
I am considering buying a 1987 Chevy R10 pickup with 450,000 that runs well and has been well looked after, am I insane ? I know these motors go on 'forever' but I know that's a LOT of KMs...it won't be my main transport and I just want a couple or three years out of it.... the body is good

The mileage is would be a consern for me. That also means 450000 on the transmission and those don't go forever. Also what does the suspension feel like. If you are really wanting to buy it I would take it to a shop and have them do a look over to make sure there are no problems with it first. That is a lot of miles on the rest of the truck.
