What could be the cause of a rough idle?
I have recently bought an 86 toyota pickup from the family of a recently deceased mechanic. Overall the truck seems to be in great shape.
I noticed the 2 of the spark plugs were loose and thought that this might be the cause of my problems, but did not seem to fix the problem. I am now thinking that it might be a vacuum leak, but I'm not sure where/how to start inspecting aside from a visual confirming that all hoses are connected.
Are there any other potential causes?
Thanks
