1986 Nissan Truck Repair Question

I need to figure out whats wrong with my truck, It back fires and when I come to a stop it cuts off
I have a 1986 nissan pick up 4 cylinder, when I come to stops it shuts off and also it back fires, I done replaced distrubuter cap, plugs and wires and gaskets, so I need to figure out why its still doing the same ole stuff
