I have a 1986 Linoln towncar and the smog pump has stop working. Would my car work if I just remove the belt that drives the a/c blower and the smog pump?
Recently the pulley stop turning on my smog reduction pump. Could I just remove the belt that drives the a/c blower and smog pump since the a/c doesn't work anyway.

did you mean AC compressor? then yah, you can remove it.
