Back fire, want idle, 86 trooper
86 trooper,4x4, will not idle, backfires when letting off the gas, replaced wires, cap, button and plugs, run 1 can of carb cleaner through carb, added seaform and always us high test gas. parts store said this model does not have a tps sensor, and ideas.

Did you check for vacuum leakages?
Are the cylinder compressions within specs?
Is the slow cut solenoid working correctly?
Have you cleaned the idling circuit?
