Ford Mustang Clutch Problem

When I'm driving my five speed mustang I will push the clutch to downshift for a stoplight and my RPMS will Rev pretty high and then drop down to where the car wants to stall. I have replaced the starter, solenoid, clutch and clutch cable, spark plugs and wires, and the alternator tested good. Its a 5.0 302ci engine fuel injected with a geardrive.
