1986 Ford F-250 Repair Question
Asked on September 28, 2012
I am trying to find a part or manufacture something to take it's place.
Hi;
I am working on a 1986 Ford 4X4 truck with a 6.9L Diesel.
The pick-up in the fuel tanks are made out of plastic, the dealers manual call them a filter assembly. I went to the dealer to find a replacement for these and as soon as I say diesel you think I have AIDS. Then nobody knows anything.

So you need the fuel pick up tubes that drop down into the gas tank?
