Ford F-150 Fuel filter Problem

1986 f150 302 engine had bad gas after sitting for 9 months. replaced tank pump and strainer new fuel filter. will crank up with 30 psi at the rail port. idles for about 5 min. an cuts of with pressure going from 30 to 0. will not accl. above 1000 rpms. have replaced high presure pump. now no pressure reading at all. do not have any leakes from tank to rail. have power at high presure pump and hear pump run and cut off about 3 sec. could this be something electrical or system need tobe primed someway

JUST A THOUGHT, THIS HAS HAPPENED TO ME WITH MECHANICAL PUMPS, WHILE MESSING WITH "IDLE FOR A GOOD WHILE" JEEPS

have pressure from tank to high pressure pump but none from high pressure pump to filter. and have just replaced high pressure pump yesterday still no fuel pressure at the rail port.
