Cooling fan
Hi;
I have a 1985 Pontiac Trans am 5.0 H.O. fuel injected with an automatic transmission that has a gremlin living in it. The car has a/c that doesn't work and a one electric fan unit. The issue is that once the motor is on the fan is on regardless of the engine being hot or cold,the fan stays on until i shut off the car. I replaced one relay and replaced the engine coolant sensor and the fan still stays on.I read somewhere that a/c T/A's had two fans,yet i have one,the relay that i replaced once pulled stopped the fan so i know i had the right one,but the fan still stays on. The check engine light is not on,what gives?
Thank You
Tom S.

It has a cooling fan switch on the right side of the engine, above the starter. It should have a dk grn and a blk/wht wire attached to it.
