1985 Honda CRX Repair Question

What are possible problems?
I forgot to put the oil cap back on, and drove about 3 miles. opened hood and there was oil all over like the whole engine bay, so i figured id basically lost all the oil. and put aa little more than half of a 5qt jug. and now i drive it and it is smokin like crazy. out the ening bay and out of the exhaust. it is all sputtery and like doesnt wanna drive. what is the problem

the oil that leaked out may have contaminated the wires, cap. you need to have the motor cleaned off of all oil residue.
check the oil with the dipstick for proper level.

okay well i drained all that oil out, and it seems to run just fine. except when it gets hot out, it wont barely drive at all. sputters when I give it gas.. checked all the fluids, everything is good.. ?
