Problems starting

I replaced the key starter the starter solenoid and the battery, When rotating with the key nothing. I can ground out the two poles on the starter solenoid and the engine cranks. I ran a wire from the positive side of the battery top the s pole on the solenoid , nothing. No noise at all. Battery is 12.9 volts and at the 2 poles on the solenoid is 12,9 volts,

Any suggestions?
