Hi, I got new ignition switch kit for steering column,pulled out old and the rack part with the teeth was snapped in two on the loop part where it catches. got the rack,gear and lock plate pin all lined up but can't get it to catch in column. key cylinder turns the rack and gear back and forward nicely but nothing clicking. car is driving me nuts!!! please help. I would greatly apperitiate it. thank you
