1984 Volkswagen Rabbit Repair Question

Car keeps stalling
I have a 1984 vw rabbit and it stalls on me. i can start it up and drive it but after a little while it will stall out on me. then i let it sit and it will start right back up. do you have any idea what that could be.

Check fuel pump pressure. Check to make sure the engine is getting spark and fuel while you sit waiting for it to restart. Chances are one will be missing. From that point, you can focus on that circuit or system (ignition or fuel).
