I would like to pass my smog test

My 84 toyota supra-185K miles-good shape----but wont pass smog this year
i am sad ----it would be sad if i have to scrape it?--
replaced O2 sens-cat5 conv---reamed out blocked pipe back of EGR ----and the NO #s actually got worse at 15mph --up to 1181 from 1139----the 25mph went down to 1238 -from 1291
i have spent my 450$ and know i can go to ref for 1 year pass=lots of red tape etc
and still i wont have a correctly running engine!
which i would prefer!
the used parts pirates want $1000 for the EGR valves-2 port-which i may pay if i knew that would be the last of it----but someone else looked at it and said there may be blockage from engine manifold to the EGR valve that is the problem
how can i be sure? and do i have to go to japan to find a replacement part at a fair price???
can you help me save this auto and make it right???
thank you---tj
