1984 Chevrolet Other Chevy k20 running sluggish

My 84 k20 is running sluggish and doing some kind of popping when I accelerate I changed all the plugs and wires and the fuel filter any ideas what the problem would be

Pull valve covers off and start engine see if all the valves are going down the same amount. It may be a bad camshaft

The auto part store gave me the wrong type of plugs they gave me platinum plugs instead of copper now its driving fine. Thanks
