What is the likely cause of a dead battery? I just replaced the old battery with a new one. '83 Benz converted to veggie oil. radio disconnected when veggie system installed. battery light on dash blinks on occasionally. Not sure if it is the alternator or something else.With new battery it is easy to jump start.
