Just and update. Got a new cable and speed sensor from Speedometer Service co. and they work great. Haven't really tried the cruise yet but at least I can tell how fast I am going.
If you have an old car and can't get a speedo cable then send them your old one and the will make one just like it. I would recommend them. Very Knowledgeable.
Well The Eagle flies again.
