I'm trying to remove the engine from the vehicle to work on it. I've disconnected all hoses and wires above but I don't know where to disconnect below so that I can hoist it out. There seems to be 1 bolt on either side of the engine connected to ~45 degree bars holding up the majority of the engine which I have loosened but I don't know where/how to disconnect the engine from the transmission. The truck is a manual and 2wd. I haven't done anything to the clutch or anything relating to the clutch. It's a rear wheel drive truck so I haven't done anything to the front tires but I'm pretty sure I don't need to. The Chilton book I have has directions but no pictures to show what the directions refer to.

The engine mounts need to be unbolted, bell housing bolt from trans to engine which there at least 4. Fuel lines, exhaust pipe and all wiring to the motor. The radiator has to come out, ac compressor off, alt and power steering pumps removed as needed.

Thats a good start
