1982 Mercury Grand Marquis I smell gasoline
1982 Mercury Grand Marquis mileage: 151,000. I just bought this car and once in a while I smell gasoline while sitting at a light or turning corners. The last couple of day's it has been stalling, especially when turning corners. Can you help me out or do I need to take it to a dealer and have it put on the scope?

Sounds like your stalling problems are probably caused by the carburetor flooding. A carburetor over haul looks like it is in order here. Also, have a new float installed when the carburetor is apart.
