1982 Mazda RX7 Repair Question

RX7 problems
My rx7 smells and spends too much gas. In addition, the engine shakes and when i get to stop, i cant accelerate fast to take off because the engine goes off. I have to let the clutch go slowly so my car could start running.

You sure the clutch is not slipping-if okay check the ignition timing and carbuerator
