I have a 2500 suburban with 8601 gvw from texas no egr no smog pump. now in cal was told I have to put smog pump on to meet cal smog law.means ihave to replace exaust manifolds (no holes for a.i.r. tubes) buy tubes,pump,diverter valve, check valves, hoses. was told my truck needs all this to pass smog .it passed smog limits just not visisonal. do i need to do all this for smog check?????
