Why pickup will not start?
Have 1981 Chevrolet Pickup w/350 and rodchester quad carb that will not start when cold unless carb is primed. Fuel will not reach carb. Once started, the vehicle starts,and will run and have no problem getting fuel to the carb. Any thoughts what could be the problem?

Check to see if the fuel pump is sending fuel when cold. Let me know what you find.
