I start the car in park and have to work my way up through the gears from L (low) untill the car rches about 30mph and 3000rpm and lunges a little. Then I can shift into D (drive) until I come to a stop, then back down to L and work my way to D. If I do not preform the shift into D correctly then the transmission slips and gives a squeeling sound. The transmission only acts like this until the engine is heated up for about 10 mins and then I can keep it in D.
