A while back I noticed that my car was shaking after I turned it off for 5-10 seconds, I took it in and they fixed it. I drove it for abut a week until I noticed that my car started to shake in idle then stall out, kind of the same way it would shake when I would turn it off. I figured that the idle was too low so I moved it up more and more until it didn't shake anymore, but now my idle is pretty high and my car shakes when I turn it off again. What do I do now?

Engine shaking and low idle is caused by a misfire. Raising the idle speed won't solve that. How long since the engine had a tune-up?

I've never taken my car in for a tune up but I have replaced some hoses, changed the air filter, and replaced fluids

Start with the basics, spark plugs and wires. With cars of that era, 30,000 miles was about the most you could expect between tune-ups.
