Without a service manual it would be tough to say along with some testing/trouble shooting etc. Also knowing what kind of motor cycle it is.

A lot of motor cycles dont use a battery ignition system its a two stroke engine.I have a honda cr250 that doesnt use a battery at all. This is a endro bike so it could use the battery only for lights?Thats why i suggest getting a good shop manual unless you know this bike and know it has a battery ignition?Otherwise best advice is to get a good repair manual and we can go from there.

That is too hard to tell what the problem is for sure. The best thing is to consult your user manual or the bike manufacturers for assistance. I however advice you not to ride the motorcycle until you figure out what the problem is. It is better to address the problem first than to take risks.
