Hello i was replacing the ignition switch on my car not the key cylinder the ignition switch on the lower part of the steering column I got the old one off and was putting the new one on. but i cannot get the linkage rod to line up with the hole on the ignition swich it says in the instructions to put my key cylinder in the accesory position but seems like it just wont line up with it any help would be appreciated
