I have my son's 73 Corvette he is restoring and the car will not idle. Car will crank and start, but when I take my foot from the peddle it cuts off.

Check the fuel pressure before and after the fuel filter to rule out the fuel filter and fuel pump. Also check vacuum at fuel pump

Check the choke adjustment/pull off/fast idle cam and also the A/F mixture and curb idle adjustment/PCV valve-
