1972 Volkswagen Beetle Repair Question

1972 Super Beelte Blinker problems??
We purchased a 1972 Super Beetle for our daughters first car. We have redone all the lights and wiring and everything works great except the blinkers. We changed out the blinker switch and all the fuses but still no luck. Any other thoughts or suggestions???

redoing all the wires and fuses. check the grounds. If neccessary make a extra ground from the body to the engine. I have seen where a wire looks good and clean but had a little rust that kept it from getting a good ground.
