I need help with the valve timing setting on w123 300d 5 cylinder

I have done the head on the car and now after putting it all together I can't get the valve timing setting right and the car won't start.

Put the engine no.1 piston on its compression stroke/TDC and align the camshaft and crankshaft markings and make sure the ignition rotor is pointing to no.1 cap tower
