1970 Ford Mustang starting problem

The car turns over and fires up, but stalls out right away, have fuel to the carb
and all wires seem to be ok, have installed electronic ignition

WHAT KINDA ELECTRONIC IGN?

WAS IT FINE PRIOR TO INSTALLING THAT?

DOES IT JUST DIE?

. OR DOES IT SPUTTER AND BUCK WHEN IT DIES?

FUEL TO CARB? IS IT CRANKING UP ON "THAT FUEL" OR DOES IT REQUIRE AN EXTERNAL HELPING OF FUEL/ STARTER FLUID?

HAVE YOU DONE ANYTHING ELSE TO IT PRIOR OT DURING THIS PROBLEM?

May need a carb overhaul the float may have the center eatenout of it due to alcohol from today's fuel. Same with accelerator pump. If this is two barrel they were good for power valves as well like a holley carb.
