Any special tricks to get the speed out of dash

no special tricks the dash comes out as a unit. Disconnect the battery , there are 4 screws that hold dash in. remove them, reach under the dash {might be a tight fit} and unscrew the speedometer cable. Disconnect the wiring harness and remove the dash from the front. Sometimes it takes some moving around if you don't have a adjustable steering wheel. If you do move it low position to give you more room.
