Crankshaft

I have a leak in the crankshaft and I have replaced the seal 2 times and I want to know what can be the problem?

Is there excessive end play in the crank? I am assuming you are referring to the front or rear main seal.

IF IT'S UP FRONT

YOU MAY BE ABLE TO USE A "REPAIR SLEEVE" ON THE HARMONIC BALANCER

THE SEAL, EVEN THOUGH IT'S MADE OF RUBBER, WILL EAT A GROOVE IN THE HARMONIC BALANCER

IN THIS PIC FOR MY 1977 JEEP CJ 5, I BOUGHT THE TIMING GASKET SET WHICH INCLUDED THE REPAIR SLEEVE WHEN I REPLACED MY STOCK TIMING SET WITH A "CLOYES TRU DOUBLE ROLLER"

KEEP US POSTED ON WHICH END OF YOUR ENGINE IS PRESENTING THE PROBLEM
