if the cable is loose from the latch u will have to see if the hood is loose on side or the other.pry the hood up and use a block of wood to shove in to hold the hood up on the loose side.then u need a coat hanger.bend it with a L shape on the end.then fish it up behind the latch and use it to release the latch.this is no easy task. if its broken by the release handle use plyers to pull it.gl
