it will not start,replaced ignition points,and condenser it was put to correct timeing it was starting fine,know it sounds like it wants to start when the iginition is on but it wont start

Check if the coil is getting power from the ignition switch and also the coil's primary and secondary winding resistances-When you gapped the points do you have it on the high side of the distributor cam-

took the wire from distributer cap that goes to coil and got sparks ,pionts were gap on the high side of distributor

Check the rotor and cap condition it has to go thru here -if it doesn't you won't have spark on the plug ends

You sure you got the right rotor and cap?

You got spark coming out of the coil when grounded-Do you have it on the sparkplug ends-the rotor and cap together distributes the secondary voltages to the plugs-Do you have spark?
